Learn about our services

  • At Quantumplayt, the goal of a psychological evaluation is to uncover your or your child's unique strengths, identify areas where support can make a meaningful difference, and provide a thoughtful diagnosis when it fits. We offer a comprehensive suite of assessment tools designed to gather insights that address questions about academic, social, emotional, and behavioral well-being—whether raised by you, your family, or educators. From first-time diagnoses and second opinions to updated assessments, we serve individuals from 18 months old through late adulthood. Our evaluations deliver clear diagnostic impressions, detailed documentation of strengths and challenges, practical recommendations, and customized treatment plans that nurture personal growth. All evaluations (except medical clearance evaluations) must be in-person. We offer evaluation/testing in both Texas and Montana.

    Types of Evaluations:

Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation: A detailed exploration of emotional, behavioral, social, and academic strengths and challenges, providing a complete picture with personalized recommendations to help you thrive.

Neurodevelopmental Evaluations: Focused assessments to identify autism or other neurodevelopmental conditions, offering clear diagnoses and guidance to support development and family planning. (Ages 18 months through 5 years)

Neuropsychological Evaluation: An in-depth look at brain functions like memory, attention, and problem-solving to understand how the brain shapes behavior and learning, with tailored strategies for support.

Medical Clearance Evaluations:Assessments to support medical procedures, such as bariatric surgery or other surgical clearances, ensuring you’re ready for the next steps in your health journey.

qEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalogram): A gentle, non-invasive way to map brain activity, helping us spot patterns related to attention, mood, or other concerns to guide effective care.

  • At Quantumplayt, we believe play is a child’s natural way of expressing themselves, much like how adults talk through their challenges in therapy. Play therapy offers children a safe, nurturing space to explore their feelings and work through difficulties. Our process begins with a conversation with parents to understand their concerns and share how play therapy can help. The clinician then meets weekly with the child in our welcoming playroom, where we gently reflect their emotions, encourage positive self-expression, and guide them in managing behaviors appropriately. Through play therapy, children learn to express their feelings in healthy ways, grow in self-awareness, and build confidence in themselves and their relationships. Throughout the course of therapy, parents often notice improvements in their child's behavior and emotional well-being, leading to closer and nurturing relationships. Currently, we only offer play therapy in Texas.

  • Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is a proven, evidence-based therapy designed to strengthen the bond between parents and their young children (ages 2–7) while addressing behavioral challenges. At Quantumplayt, our PCIT services are delivered by mental health professionals formally trained in PCIT, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care. We guide families toward stronger, more nurturing relationships by coaching parents to interact with their child in positive, supportive ways and teaching children new skills for healthy behavior.

In PCIT, parents and children work together in a welcoming playroom, with a trained therapist observing through a live video feed or in-room setup. The parent wears a discreet earbud, allowing the therapist to provide real-time coaching on effective strategies to manage the child’s behavior. PCIT typically involves weekly 60-minute sessions over 14–16 weeks, tailored to each family’s needs. The therapy unfolds in two key phases:

Phase 1: The first phase focuses on creating a sense of calm and security in the parent-child relationship. Parents learn skills to foster warmth, boost their child’s confidence, and help them feel safe and valued.

Phase 2: The second phase equips parents with tools to handle challenging behaviors, such as tantrums or defiance, with confidence and consistency. Parents learn proven techniques to set clear limits, encourage compliance, reinforce household rules, and support appropriate behavior in public settings.

Families who complete PCIT often see significant improvements, including fewer and less intense behavioral issues (like tantrums, defiance, or aggression) and stronger parent-child bonds. Children gain better self-esteem, improved attention, and more positive social behaviors, while parents feel calmer, more confident, and less frustrated when managing discipline. At Quantumplayt, PCIT is delivered with care and empathy, supporting your family’s journey toward growth, harmony, and lasting well-being. Currently, we only offer PCIT in Texas.

  • At Quantumplayt, we understand that parenting is both deeply rewarding and uniquely challenging. Sometimes, a child’s emotional or behavioral difficulties are best addressed through Parent Consultation, either on its own or as part of a broader therapy plan. Instead of, or alongside, working directly with your child, we collaborate with you— the parent— to explore factors that might unintentionally contribute to your child’s challenges. Together, we identify evidence-based strategies tailored to your family’s needs, helping to address your child’s specific concerns.

Through Parent Consultation, we empower parents to foster stronger, more nurturing connections with their child. This approach can reduce anxiety, depression, or power struggles, while boosting your child’s self-esteem and positive behaviors. For parents who feel caught in a cycle of discipline rather than connection, our therapeutic support helps shift the focus to building a healthier, more joyful parent-child relationship. At Quantumplayt, we are dedicated to equipping parents with the tools and confidence to help their children thrive at home, creating lasting harmony and well-being for the whole family. We provide parent consultations in-person and via telehealth in Texas, as well as through telehealth in Montana.

  • We offer SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), a proven parent-based therapy developed by the Yale Child Study Center to help children and adolescents overcome anxiety, OCD, and related challenges. Designed for young people facing issues like separation anxiety, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, fears, phobias, panic disorder, agoraphobia, selective mutism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and picky eating (ARFID), SPACE empowers parents and caregivers without requiring the child to attend sessions. In weekly sessions, parents learn effective strategies to respond more supportively to their child’s anxiety while reducing accommodations that may reinforce symptoms. When successful, SPACE equips parents with practical tools to help their child thrive, while children experience less anxiety and improved functioning. This approach fosters stronger, more nurturing family connections. We provide SPACE via telehealth in Texas and Montana.

  • Neurofeedback, also known as EEG biofeedback, is a non-invasive, evidence-based therapy that trains the brain to regulate its activity and improve mental functioning. By using real-time monitoring of brainwave patterns through sensors placed on the scalp, neurofeedback provides feedback via visual or auditory cues, helping individuals learn to self-regulate brain activity. This process can enhance focus, reduce stress, improve sleep, and address symptoms of conditions like ADHD, anxiety, and depression. At Quantumplayt, our neurofeedback sessions are tailored to each client’s needs, offering a safe and effective way to optimize brain health and performance. Currently, we only offer neurofeedback in Texas.

  • At Quantumplayt, we offer personalized therapy for adults, designed to meet you where you are and support you through life’s challenges. We draw on proven approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs, symptoms, and ongoing feedback. Together, you and your therapist will create a thoughtful treatment plan that addresses both immediate concerns and long-term goals, fostering meaningful growth and well-being.

We provide compassionate counseling for adults navigating a wide range of struggles, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, complex family dynamics, life transitions, and stress from personal or professional situations. Whether you’re facing life’s ups and downs or seeking to overcome specific challenges, we are here to guide you with empathy and expertise. At Quantumplayt, we are dedicated to helping you build stronger connections with yourself and others, creating a path toward healing and a more fulfilling life. We provide adult counseling/therapy in-person and via telehealth in Texas, as well as through telehealth in Montana.
