Psychological Testing/Evaluations
-
Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation
Quantumplayt provides comprehensive psychological testing services for individuals starting at 18 months of age. We are committed to supporting clients in understanding and managing their mental health and well-being. We offer a broad spectrum of assessments, including evaluations for ADHD, learning disabilities, personality disorders, and other conditions. With a dedication to evidence-based practices and personalized care, our practice serves as a trusted partner for those seeking deeper insight into their mental health and overall well-being.
-
Neurodevelopmental Evaluation
Our practice provides comprehensive neurodevelopmental evaluations, including specialized assessments for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), for individuals seeking an initial diagnosis or a re-evaluation to determine their current functioning and support needs. We employ evidence-based, research-supported methodologies to assess cognitive, educational, adaptive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Our ASD evaluations are designed not only to confirm the presence of autism spectrum disorder but also to identify any co-occurring conditions or differential diagnoses.
Our experienced clinicians utilize the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), widely recognized as the gold standard in autism assessments. The ADOS-2 evaluates social interactions and behaviors to accurately identify ASD characteristics. Additionally, our diagnostic process incorporates elements of the Autism Diagnostic Interview, Revised Edition (ADI-R), a validated, research-backed tool that supports precise diagnoses through structured caregiver interviews.
During the evaluation, we conduct a thorough clinical interview to review background information, ASD-related symptoms, and any prior testing. Observational sessions are also integrated into the process to provide a holistic assessment. Following the evaluation, we develop tailored intervention strategies to address the individual’s unique needs and promote their overall well-being.
-
Pre-Surgical Psychological Evaluations
Our practice provides comprehensive pre-surgical psychological evaluations, as often required by insurance providers and surgical teams for major procedures such as organ transplants, amputations, gender-affirming surgeries, spinal cord stimulator implants, or bariatric surgeries. These evaluations are critical due to the significant costs, lifestyle adjustments, and limited resources associated with such procedures.
We conduct thorough assessments using diagnostic interviews, behavioral observations, and collateral information from relevant sources. These evaluations assess a patient’s psychological readiness for surgery, providing the surgical team with informed insights into the patient’s suitability for the procedure. Additionally, we offer recommendations for pre-surgical interventions to optimize candidacy and develop tailored post-surgical treatment plans to support improved outcomes and long-term well-being.

Preparing Your Child for the Evaluation Process
Children benefit from knowing what to expect at their first appointment. Before the visit, it’s helpful to explain what the day will be like, avoiding the word “testing,” as it can make kids feel anxious. We encourage you to make a general statement about the experience, such as, “On Monday, we are going to talk to someone about how you are feeling and thinking so we can help you learn and grow. You will be doing a lot of different things with the doctor, like answering different questions, playing with toys, puzzles, drawings, and stories as well as some school-like tasks like reading and math. All you need to do is try your best.”
